Health Education Programs in Nepal

(A health education is being given to the children)

Over the past two years, MEPO Nepal ran a free clinic in Kathmandu and conducted over 10 remote-area health camps around Nepal serving hundreds of needy villagers with free check-ups and medicines, and distributing toothbrushes and toothpastes, soaps and school supplies in almost every health camp, particularly for children.

In addition, MEPO carried out longer term health and dental education programs. Our systemic health education trainings took place in Mangalpur village, Sri Aurobindo Ashram/Orphanage and Bisaune Center for street children.

MEPO was also able to provide medical services and financial support for several individuals and families, such as arthritis treatment and school tuition for a young boy and free insulin treatments for diabetic patients in Banepa thanks to our donors.
