Dear Everyone,

I hope this message would find your all in the best of your healths. I am doing well back home. My family is also doing well and saying Hello to each one of you.  As you know that I started a project for an orphanage in Kabul, Afghanistan when I was in United States. The name of the orphanage is The House of Flowers. There are about 30 kids in this orphanage.

          I along with some of my friends from YES (Youth Exchange and studies) program collected supplies from ordinary people in the United States and brought them with ourselves to Afghanistan for this orphanage.

          On June 26, 2008 I along with some of YES (Youth Exchange and Studies) alumnus visited The House of Flowers. The kids were really happy to meet us. I am also happy that I did this project successfully. We played some games with the kids and they enjoyed their time with us. We played Volley Ball, Frisbee and some other games. After this we gave some supplies to each kid and some to the Library for their use. Our visit lasted for almost an hour. Some of the kids asked about United States and we tried to answer their questions as best as we can. One of our friends also talked about YES (Youth Exchange and Studies) program and American Councils. We also showed the proper use of teeth brash to the kids. Zabi, Hassib Rossan, Abdul Samad Ramin Sadri, Meena, Rohina Sediqui, Allaha and I visited the orphanage.
