MEPO in Afghanistan

In Kabul, MEPO volunteers  periodically help administer and  run the House of Flowers.

In addition, MEPO's Afghan NGO counterpart, HEWAD, is an invaluable partner in administration of the orphanage. HEWAD liaises with the government on behalf of MEPO when necessary, and provides steady operational support to the House of Flowers.

Budget

Since MEPO was founded in August 1999, its annual budget has increased from an average of $12,000 to about $50,000/year.

The only source of income for MEPO's projects over these years has been private donations from caring individuals.
