"... A wealth of material and insights... a fine job of integrating
notions of science, medicine, the body, the spirit and poetry. Wonderful
treatment of the mystical guidance inherent in Hafiz's poetry."

This book explores Hafiz, the Persian sage, mystic and poet of the
fourteenth century. It presents the spiritual qualities, poetry and
teachings of this great master who has over six centuries gained the
admiration of readers spanning from India to the Western World. Goethe,
Rueckert and Platen are few of the giant literary figures whose works
and persons were fundamentally influenced by the teachings and poetry
of Hafiz. Furthermore, the book demonstrates the phenomena of interconnections
through the poetry of Hafiz. This unusual endeavor leads us to understand
the links ranging from the behaviors of subatomic particles in the field
of physics to the complex behaviors of body and psyche in the field
of medicine as well as the socioeconomic aspects of our lives.
The entire book is composed of full color photographs. The book is
136 pages of full color photographs illustrations and contains seventy-five
hand picked verses of Hafiz presented with their original Persian calligraphy.
